Who we are
Fireproof is operated by Lesley Yeaman, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. Fireproof is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at hello@lesleyyeaman.com.
What we collect
Your name and email address when you enquire, book a call, take the Fireproof Audit, or join the correspondence list.
Your responses to the Fireproof Audit, including scores, profile and any figures you enter into the invisible labour calculator.
Purchase records — what you bought and when. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach our systems.
Basic technical data such as approximate location, device and pages visited.
Why we use it
To deliver what you have asked for: your reading, your resources, your call, your membership access.
To send correspondence from Fireproof where you have consented. Consent is recorded with a timestamp and you can withdraw it at any time.
To meet legal and accounting obligations.
Lawful basis
Contract — delivering a product or service you have bought.
Consent — marketing correspondence. Withdraw it via the unsubscribe link in any email.
Legitimate interests — running and improving Fireproof.
Legal obligation — tax and financial records.
Who sees it
We never sell or rent your data. It is shared only with the providers who run this business on our behalf: our website and database host, our email and CRM platform, and our payment provider. Each processes data under contract and on our instruction.
How long we keep it
Audit responses and correspondence records are kept while you remain on the list and for up to two years after your last engagement. Purchase and financial records are kept for seven years as required by UK law.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to our use of your data, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent. Email hello@lesleyyeaman.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We use only what is necessary to run the site and understand broad traffic patterns. We do not run advertising trackers.
